Biography
The band started in 1994 in Tampico, Mexico. Their style is a mixture of death-thrash with strong influences of classic heavy metal. The band has always stuck to their guns of “singing” in their native tongue, spanish and could be considered an “exotic” band, despite their overall assault, aggression and pure metal attack. In 1996 ANTON released “Creando el Dolor”. Their first professionalrecording which put them as headliners for the “Battle of the Bands Tour” across their home state. In 1997 the prestigious and classic Mexican magazine “Banda Rockera” called ANTON “Revelation Band of the Year”.
By 1998 their name was spreaded all over the world thru the fanzine connection in places as the U.S., Central America, Germany and Spain. The band appeared mentioned and reviewed in publications such as Heavy Rock, Rock Brigade, Metal Maniacs, Metal Rules and tons of other underground press and fanzines (and now webzines). Even the local newspaper has given ANTON a place to voice their ideas, tours and music several times.
In 1999 ANTON released “En el Umbral del Caos” and played all over Mexico sharing the stage with big mexican names as Transmetal, Leprosy, Khafra, Luzbel, Makina, Disgorge as well as killer acts like Ángeles del Infierno, Rata Blanca, Master, Prophecy and many others. The band has played more than 300 gigs and they are respected as promoters and tour organizers.
By the end of 2004, ANTON released a new album “Todos Morirán Hoy” (its title would read as “They all shall die today”). This new record is being distributed in Germany and other places of Europe thru Ketzer Records.
In early 2005, ANTON toured Central America playing in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala acting as headliners in this short tour called “El Diablo Fest” and where great bands like Dantesco, Ancestral, Blasfemia and Mantra played too.
In May 28th 2005, ANTON was one of the five Mexican bands to be chosen and invited to be part of the second edition of the “Monterrey Metal Fest” playing in the same event with killer Monsters of Rock like Motorhead, Wasp, Danzig, Hammerfall and Metal Church and also the band played a previous party date with Neil Turbin, Ripper Owens and Lupara.
ANTON released a professional video clip for the song “Creador del Dolor” the controversial nature of the clip (a catholic priest turns into an assassin) has pointed some fingers at the band as “satanists” and “anarchists”. Anyway, the video has been receiving some restricted airplay and can be viewed at www.youtube.com (Search for ANTON).
From early August to mid October 2005, the band toured all over South America, playing 25 shows in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. The shows were a success and from July to September 2006, the band played another 20 dates in a similar trek thru all those countries, playing cities no other international band had played before. Right now ANTON is looking for a label to support their never ending efforts to create their unique style of PUREFUCKINGMETAL!. A new indie EP has just been released to celebrate their XII anniversary. Its title is “Adicción Satánica”. The band is looking forward to play the U.S. and Europe at first chance in 2007 to promote this new piece of Metal.

From January 2008, ANTON traveled to Europe, specifically the city of Rome in Italy to record their new album. 500 were published in March of this promotional work called "Beasts" for specialized media companies and key contacts. " The album marks the band's debut in the English language on some issues and is now in full distribution.

The band played new country tours starting in August 2008 and 2009. In the latter, he met the original lineup to celebrate 15 years of existence as a group.
Currently the lineup has changed, joining the group their first guitarist Marco Estrella, rhythm guitarist Felix Silva, Hector Gonzales on vocals and David Fernandez on drums
2011 Anton prepares his new album titled "Monster Metal"
2012 Anton takes on sale its new production titled "Monster Metal" consists of 5 powerful songs.
Currently the band is still active performing at various events in the Mexican Republic.
Biografía
La banda se integró en Tampico, México en 1994. Su estilo es una mezcla de las más poderosas corrientes en el heavy metal interpretado en español. En 1995 obtuvieron el segundo lugar en el Festival Globo Rock de la Radio FM. En 1996 realizaron su primera grabación “Creando el Dolor” y fueron cabezas de cartel de la Gira de Bandas Tamaulipecas. En 1997 fueron designados como “La Banda Revelación” a nivel nacional por la revista Banda Rockera. En 1998 su nombre ya aparecía reseñado en publicaciones especializadas en México, Estados Unidos, Argentina, Brasil, España y Alemania como Metal Rules, Heavy Rock, Heavy Metal Subterráneo, Metal Maniacs, Rock Brigade y decenas de fanzines (y ahora webzines). Incluso la prensa local ha brindado en varias ocasiones un espacio a ANTON para difundir su trabajo.
En 1999 editaron su segunda producción “En el Umbral del Caos”. La banda avanzaba sobre su mismo estilo y las presentaciones siguieron por todo el país.
ANTON ha compartido el escenario con algunos de los más importantes monstruos del rock de habla hispana como son: Ángeles del Infierno, Rata Blanca, Transmetal, Khafra, Luzbel y Leprosy, teniendo oportunidad de tocar frente a más de 2000 personas en un solo evento. Por supuesto el grupo ha recorrido el movimiento subterráneo del país alternando con excelente grupos como Disgorge, Eternal Damnation, Genocide, Sargatanas, Extinción Cerebral, Delirium, Anarchus, Makina, entre muchos otros. En 12 años de trayectoria, ANTON ha participado en más de 300 conciertos en muchas ciudades de México y el mundo además de organizar y producir sus propias presentaciones y giras.
El 2004 vio la realización del disco “Todos Morirán Hoy”. El material es un trabajo completamente profesional y ha logrado distribución en Europa a través de Ketzer Records. El cd ha sido comentado y reseñado en muchos espacios metaleros en el mundo entero. En febrero de 2005 la banda estuvo de gira por Centroamérica, tocando en Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras y Guatemala siendo cabezas de cartel del “Diablo Fest” donde también participaron bandas importantes de otros países como Dantesco, Ancestral, Blasfemia y Mantra.
En mayo de 2005 ANTON fue una de las pocas agrupaciones mexicanas que participaron en la segunda edición del Monterrey Metal Fest, donde se presentaron algunas de las bandas más importantes en el heavy metal a nivel mundial como Motorhead, Wasp, Danzig, Hammerfall y Metal Church. La banda tocó una fecha previa junto a Neil Turbin, Ripper Owens y Lupara.
ANTON realizó un videoclip profesional de la canción “Creador del Dolor” cuyo contenido ha generado cierta controversia y por lo que su difusión ha sido lenta en los medios. El video puede descargarse directamente de su página de Internet y en el www.youtube.com En agosto y hasta octubre de 2005, ANTON tocó 25 conciertos en Sudamérica visitando Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay y Chile. A partir del 19 de julio y hasta el 3 de septiembre de 2006 la banda volvió a esos países junto a los italianos The Orange Man Theory para realizar 20 conciertos más.
Al cierre de 2006 ANTON editó un nuevo EP “Adicción Satánica”, que se encuentra en distribución y promoción mientras la banda trabaja en un nuevo video y las giras de 2007.
Ingresar a los Estados Unidos para realizar una gira lo que no se ha concretado.
A partir de enero de 2008, ANTON viajó a Europa, específicamente a la ciudad de Roma en Italia para grabar su nuevo material discográfico. En marzo se editaron 500 promocionales de este trabajo denominado “Bestiario” para los medios especializados, las compañías y los contactos más importantes”. El disco marca el debut de la banda en el idioma inglés en algunos temas y actualmente se encuentra en plena distribución.

La banda hizo nuevas giras en territorio nacional a partir de agosto de 2008 y en 2009. En ésta última, se reunió la alineación original para celebrar 15 años de existencia como agrupación.
En 2010 la banda se encuentra activa para otras presentaciones y eventos.
Actualmente su alineación ha cambiado,integrándose al grupo su primer guitarrista Marco Estrella,Felix Silva como guitarrista ritmico, en la voz Hector Gonzales y David Fernandez en la bateria

2012 Anton saca a la venta su nueva producción titulada “Monster Metal” compuesta por 5 poderosas canciones.
Actualmente la banda sigue activa presentándose en distintos eventos en la república mexicana.
